The Hemingford Pavilion has a long history of staging cricket matches, dating back to the opening of the playing field in 1949. The Pavilion has been the home of the Hemingford Park Cricket Club, playing competitive league cricket, and currently hosts teams playing playing non-league cricket. In the Hemingford Pavilion's rural village setting, it is a superb venue.
We have an excellent, well maintained, cricket wicket. The facility also has changing rooms, nets, and rollers and, in the Pavilion bar, the ideal place to meet and review the day's play. Spectators can watch the action from the sidelines or from the comfort of the Pavilion bar's first floor terrace.
The facility is available for both competitive club cricket and informal friendly matches. We encourage and welcome players of all ages and abilities.
