Hemingfords United have a long and successful history. The club is over 100 years old, and has won many honours since being formed by the villages of Hemingford Abbots and Hemingford Grey in 1899.  Hemingfords United have two pitches at the Memorial Playing Field.

In addition to the first team, there is a reserves side, A team, two colts teams (under 16 and under 12) and a veterans team (over 35). The A team was formed in 2002 to develop our youth policy, bringing in players from the colts. This proved successful, with the team winning promotion in their first year. The club currently plays in the Cambridgeshire football league.
