Hunts County Squash Club (HCSC) is one of the most active squash clubs in the county of Cambridgeshire. The complex comprises of three squash courts with a fourth court expected to be built in 2005.
The club offers extremely good value to its members by offering low membership fees and charging only £3.00 for 40 minutes of squash. Not only does squash keep you fit but it can be played in all weather conditions!
We welcome all standards of players to HCSC and help is at hand for all ages and abilities. Junior Coaching is run by our Level II coach Nicky Hastings. We are also one of a few clubs in the region to have a Level IV coach. If coaching is not your scene we run monthly leagues at the club and friendly games are very easy to arrange too.
In the Cambridgeshire squash leagues we have three men's teams and one ladies team. Matches are played every week over the county and a very high standard of squash can be seen in the top divisions.
Training sessions are planned for the 2004-05 season for team players. We would like to hear from you if you are interested in playing for any of our teams.
HCSC is also home to the Squash Academy run by David Morgan.
The academy runs a dedicated training and coaching scheme to realise the full potential of up and coming squash players. Youngsters from all over the world often attend the Squash Academy at HCSC as a part of their professional training. This summer several youngsters from Cambridgeshire are visiting Canada to play squash.
HCSC also holds several club tournaments each year. This includes handicaps, doubles, and club championships. The tournaments are extremely sociable and enjoyable.
