Terms and Conditions for Conference Bookings

- The balance due will be invoiced and is payable within 7 days.
- The lunch provided is a cold buffet lunch. If a more elaborate menu is required, this can be arranged at extra cost.
- Smoking is not permitted in the Manor Room.
- Hirers wishing to use any electrical equipment not provided by the Social Club do so at their own risk, and shall be liable for any damage or injury caused as a result of the use of such equipment.
- The bar may be opened if required at lunchtime, at a cost of £20. Drinks can be purchased at Social Club prices, which are generally well below that of other licensed establishments.
- Car parking must be restricted to the car park. Parking on the field is not permitted. Authorised parking only is allowed on the access road adjacent to the tennis courts.
- No obstructions should be placed in gangways or exits, and fire extinguishers should not be moved other than for emergency use.
- Residential accommodation can be provided at the Willow Guest House, which is situated in the High Street, a few minutes walk away. A single room is £30 £35, inclusive of a full English breakfast. Please let us know if you would like accommodation.
- The Social Club will not be responsible for any loss or damage to property nor for any injury arising during the day. Damage / breakages will be invoiced to the company in whose name the booking was made.
- The Social club reserves the right to cancel a booking, but undertakes to refund any deposit should this unlikely event occur.
- Any alterations to the booking must be advised in writing.
- All figures are quoted exclusive of VAT, which will be added when appropriate.
- A booking form must be received within 14 days of the confirmed booking. Once a booking form has been received, any cancellations are subject to a 25% fee, provided that more than one month|s notice of cancellation is given. If 7 days to one month|s notice of cancellation is given, the hirer will be liable to 50% of the full charge. If less than 7 days notice is given, the hirer will be liable to the full charge .
